Circuit Court Judge swears in four new officers of the court

Circuit Court Judge DJ Mote swears in four more officers of the court this morning. Beth McRoberts, Leah Cruea, Karlee Sedam, and Josh Mobley completed the 30 hour CASA Volunteer training required by National GAL/CASA Association. In February, CASA of Jefferson County held the training sponsored by Chandler Chevrolet, Farmer’s Bank of Milton, Ivy Tech Madison Campus, Kroger, Bad Apple Mac’s, Red Pepperoni along with Friend of CASA, Terri Waller. “Given the climate in volunteer work across our nation since the pandemic, we are thrilled to add four more community members to our team. The volunteers in our program are the only avenue in which all child victims have a presence in Judge Mote’s court room. There is no other avenue other than us, and we are proud to provide him with four more members to be the eyes and ears of his court in these types of cases.” said Executive Director, Whitney Roberts.
