Moose Riders #765 Poker Run 2023: Engines Revved and Hearts Open for Jefferson County Kids

We are thrilled to announce that Moose Riders #765 is hosting a Poker Run event this year to benefit CASA of Jefferson County and Kindness Jefferson County.

This exciting and fun-filled event brings together passionate individuals with all kinds of Jeeps, Cars, Trucks, and Cycles, united for a common purpose - making a difference in the lives of children who need it the most.

Your participation means more than you can imagine, and your entrance fee not only gets you in the event but also includes a meal - $20 for singles and $25 for couples. There will be an array of door prizes, a 50/50 draw, and a live auction to add to the fun and excitement. The Poker Run will commence and conclude at the Moose Lodge. Additional details and future announcements can be found on the Moose Riders Poker Run Event Page.

For those willing to go a step further, we have sponsor T-shirts available for a minimum donation of $50. All proceeds will support the incredible work that CASA of Jefferson County and Kindness Jefferson County are each doing for our community's vulnerable children and families.

CASA of Jefferson County is a non-profit organization that diligently advocates for children who have been victims of abuse or neglect. Our advocates stand beside these children in the courtroom throughout the life of their case, thereby ensuring improved long-term outcomes for this vulnerable population in Jefferson County.

Kindness Jefferson County is a nonprofit organization created as a way for the community to help each other and bring back positivity in a time that positivity and kindness are needed most.

Whitney Roberts, Executive Director of CASA Jefferson County, couldn't help but express her deep appreciation for the Moose Riders, "I want The Moose Riders to know how much I value their mission. It’s easy for me to say that because they’re giving us 50% of the proceeds..."

"But," she continues, "even if we weren’t chosen, there are so many other deserving organizations out there, and I would totally be rooting for them. I’m grateful that they chose our program."

Whitney also highlights the common belief between CASA and KJC and how The Moose Riders have been instrumental in advancing her mission, "They share a similar belief as us, that one person can change a life. This year, I've been on a mission, and The Moose Riders are helping me with it."

In her eyes, the impact of their support extends beyond monetary donations, "They're planting seeds of awareness in the work we do, and that truly is worth more than any monetary donation. And it’s happening in such a fun way with like-minded individuals who just want to give back. It’s powerful."

We are looking forward to seeing everyone at the Poker Run. Let's come together to support our children, enjoy the ride, and make a difference. Let's show these kids that they are not alone and there is a community that cares about them. Let's make the 2023 Poker Run an event to remember!

Thank you for your support. We couldn't do this without you. Every ride, every dollar, and every act of kindness counts.
