Keagan Lancy Hatton Performing at Art with the Pieces Charity Auction for CASA of Jefferson County

Local musician is returning to show his support for a great cause and will be performing live at the 2024 When Your Heart Is Broken, Make Art With The Pieces Charity Auction hosted by and benefiting CASA of Jefferson County.

Keagan Lancy Hatton is a singer - songwriter from Carrollton, Kentucky who has been bringing his music to crowds all around Kentucky and southern Indiana for the last year and a half. In that time, he has shared a stage with acts like Confederate Railroad, Branden Martin, Buffalo Wab and the Price Hill Hustle, and Joe Clark and The Peacemakers. His music is a mix of country, folk, and Southern rock influences that he hopes to continue bringing to venues all across the region.

“We’ve had several people reach out to ask if Keagan would be back, and I was ecstatic to tell them yes! This young man is a force to reckon with. His support base and fans have increasingly grown, and I am excited for him to perform again for our guests in April.” executive director, Whitney Roberts.

Despite his busy school and extracurricular activities schedule, Keagan continues to play whenever he has free time. Last year, one of his goals was to record his own songs. He is well on his way to that. He explained that songwriting can be inspired by anything from a conversation to a life experience, and sometimes the inspiration hits at the perfect moment.

Thanks to the sponsorship from Penny Koehler Real Estate Agent with F.C. Tucker/Scott Lynch Group, Keagan will be performing at the When Your Heart Is Broken, Make Art With The Pieces Charity Auction again this year. It's an excellent opportunity for Keagan to showcase his growing talents while supporting a worthy cause. Roberts encourages everyone to come out and listen to Keagan play. "He's truly something special," she said. "Not just because of his talent, but also because of his attitude and willingness to use his music to make a difference in the world."

Keagan’s future plans are to attend Eastern Kentucky University in the fall and to get in the studio to start recording his original music.
