CASA Joins Madison’s Beloved Soup Stew Chili & Brew Festival

This year, CASA of Jefferson County is joining the festival again as a participating vendor. CASA is a local organization that advocates for abused and neglected children in the foster care system. By participating in the festival, CASA raises awareness about its mission and connects with the community it serves.

Madison, Indiana's Main Street will transform into a culinary paradise on October 12th, 2024, as the city hosts its annual Soup Stew Chili & Brew Festival. This vibrant event brings together the community for a day of mouthwatering dishes, lively entertainment, and charitable giving. Organized by the Madison Area Chamber of Commerce, Soup Stew Chili & Brew is more than just a festival. It's a community event that strengthens the bonds between residents and supports local organizations. Proceeds from the festival benefit numerous area nonprofits, helping to make a difference in the lives of those in need.

“This year’s menu is very exciting for me! My southern roots are going to shine through this year!” Executive Director, Whitney Roberts goes on to share, “This is one of my personal favorite events because I love to feed people. It is very near and dear to my heart!”

CASA will be offering Smoky Collard Greens, Chrissy’s Famous Taco Soup, Soup Beans, Smoked Sausage with Bell Peppers & Onions, and Texas Sheet Cake. The CASA committee for this event is composed of CASA board members, staff, and Friends of CASA who have been working behind the scenes to make this year’s event just as successful as years past.
