A New Pillar of Child Abuse Prevention in Jefferson County, Indiana
Prevent Child Abuse Jefferson County is being established as a separate non-profit entity with its own board and fiscal controls. This organization aims to act as a pillar of hope and protection for the children of Jefferson County. Aligned with the mission of PCAIN, the goal is to provide a brighter, safer future for all young individuals in our community.
Our Mission in Action
PCAIN is a division of The Villages and a chartered state chapter of Prevent Child Abuse America. Prevent Child Abuse, Jefferson County will join this robust network to make Indiana a haven for our children. The organization will be dedicated to raising awareness and distributing education on various critical issues such as water safety, safe dating, and internet safety, in addition to preventing child abuse and neglect. In 2024, Prevent Child Abuse Jefferson County will be recruiting additional board members from diverse backgrounds to fortify its mission.
Public Trainings
Starting in 2024, Prevent Child Abuse Jefferson County will host public trainings led by facilitators from Prevent Child Abuse Indiana. These sessions will address a range of topics aimed at child abuse prevention and general child well-being.
