Last Christmas, Madison Walmart, Grote Industries, Dendy Pet Care, HH Apothecary, Wicked Sweet Bakery, and several individual donors, who wish to remain anonymous, covered Christmas for 51 children assigned to CASA of Jefferson County. This time of year can be especially hard on children experiencing foster care and who are away from their families. Because of these sponsors, children in care woke up to an unforgettable Christmas morning! We thank those individuals and businesses who came together to make Christmas morning magical and bright.

Jefferson County, like many areas, has seen a steady increase in the number of children entering the foster care system. As a result, many Jefferson County children find themselves in foster families scattered across the state.
